As part of the SBDM council, the minority parent representative will meet with the principal and other SBDM council members once per month after school to discuss and decide on school-related matters. According to state regulation, an SBDM minority representative must be part of a racial or ethnic minority group that is underrepresented in the school. - 25-26 SBDM Meeting Dates: Regularly Scheduled Meetings occur on the 4th Thursday of each month (except for June and December) at 3:30pm in the NMS Conference Room. Special Called Meetings are called as needed.
NMS is accepting nominations for SBDM Council Parent Members for the 2026-2027 school year. Nominations will be accepted in the front office March 9, 2026 to March 17, 2026. Voting will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the NMS front office. Please call Northern Middle School at 678-5230 with any questions.
