- Parents, If you would be willing to serve on our SBDM council as a minority parent representative, please contact NMS at (606) 678-5230. As part of the SBDM council, the minority parent representative will meet with the principal and other SBDM council members once per month after school to discuss and decide on school-related matters. According to state regulation, an SBDM minority representative must be part of a racial or ethnic minority group that is underrepresented in the school.
